Kierstyn was born and raised in South Florida, later moving to Central Texas. Kierstyn's theatre journey began in junior high when she performed in her school's musical You're a Good Man Charlie Brown.
She continued to pursue acting throughout high school, but was also introduced to technical theatre. This is where she cultivated her early skills in both Stage Management and Audio Design for shows such as Something Rotten, A Monster Calls, and Carrie: The Musical.
Following high school, Kierstyn was accepted into Texas State University to major in Performance and Production with a minor in Psychology. She immediately started working in Austin.
Kierstyn graduated from the TXST School of Theatre, Dance, & Film with her Bachelor of Fine Arts. She pursues a career in acting for Film/TV and continues her stage work in Live Theatre.
Kierstyn is currently local to the Greater Austin Metropolitan area.
Working with Zach Theater as an Assistant Stage Manager for their Pre-Professional Company production of Ignite which serves advanced performing arts training for students grades 6-12.
Working as a Scene Shop Supervisor and a Stage Management Supervising Assistant for the Austin ISD Performing Arts Center's Summer Theatre Series, producing Disney's Frozen: The Musical and The Witch's Princess by Don Zoladis.
